The “A Tale of Two Histories: What Now for the Future?” debate was held at the University of Birmingham. The debate was between Ed Buckner and Adnan Rashid.
About the Speakers
Dr. Ed Buckner was the President of American Atheists (at the time of the debate he was the President). He has been a professor, a technical school administrator, and Executive Director of the Council for Secular Humanism (2001-2003).
Adnan is a historian with a speciality in the history of Islamic civilisation, comparative religion and Hadith sciences. He also takes a keen interest in lslamic numismatics, ancient manuscripts and antiques. He has debated many high profile figures in the field of politics, history, theology and Christianity.
