Humanism?

Humanism?

Islam or Humanism: Which One Makes More Sense?

With an increase of people seeking to live ethical and fulfilling lives on the basis of humanism, this timely discussion has been arranged to explore the rational and moral foundations of Islam and this increasingly popular philosophy.

Are humanists the only ones who seek to use reason to form conclusion about life? What moral and ethical frameworks provide better values for humanity? Can we live better lives without religion? Does God exist? Do we have to follow His commands?

This debate was held at University College London between Professor Richard Norman who is Emeritus Professor of Moral Philosophy and Hamza Andreas Tzortzis who is head of research and lecturer for iERA.

The video for this debate will be available on this page soon.
