Adnan Rashid
Adnan is a historian with a speciality in the history of Islamic civilisation, comparative religion and Hadith sciences. He also takes a keen interest in lslamic numismatics, ancient manuscripts and antiques. He has debated many high profile figures in the field of politics, history, theology and Christianity.
He has defended his views successfully in many prestigious universities including University of Warsaw (Poland) and the American University of Beirut (Lebanon). Adnan has represented Islam and Muslims internationally appearing on a number of radio and TV platforms.
He is presently serving as a Khateeb at a West London mosque where he is presently conducting an extensive course on the life the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him).
Adnan believes that Islam is a way of life which promotes modernity (in all of its positive manifestations) and provides practically realistic solutions for all problems facing mankind.
Adnan Rashid is a senior researcher at the Hittin Institute, and is also a lecturer for iERA.
